Well, here he is! The first of two Hobbes plushie's I am making- this one is a gift for someone who really really loves Calvin and Hobbes, and has wanted for years to have a plushie of Hobbes (It's his birthday n Monday, just in time!)
The other plush is a "stuffed toy Hobbes", He's almost finished but I am "Amigurumi style" knitting his stripes on, since I wanted him to look authentic- so its taking a little while to do by hand (Pics of him will follow in a few days!)

Let me know what you think of him, I'm pretty pleased!! I hope the recipient likes him!



Calvin and Hobbes is copy write Bill Watterson. He never wanted to merchandise his comic since he felt it would cheapen his work, and destroy the integrity of his comic. I am making my plushes in tribute to the incredible integrity and character of this man, I hope he doesn't mind. I've always loved the comic strip and I hope these toys do it justice!
